Have:

SuperServer 6025B-3RV

X7DB3 MB

16G RAM

7 SATA Drives w/RAID 5 using AOC -LPZCR2 0 Channel RAID Card for 1.36TB Storage

Just found out today that my X7DB3 MB and AOC -LPZCR2 RAID Card are not 'offically' supported by VM Ware for ESX 3.5.X-(

(Even though it has been running for 3 months with no issues until recently-HD I/O issues)

- Should I be concerned and like do I need to start conversations with my hardware reseller about swaping box?

- Anyone out there using ESX 3.5 successfully with above config in production enviroment?

I used the same system for a 60 day trial (with the exception that we are using the AOC-LPZCR3 - battery backed v2 basically). I had one PSOD related to some I/O failure. I don't recall exactly what the error was that I received. Otherwise it performed well.

Unable to manage our RAID arrays however since ASM isn't supported in 3.5.
