Guys

I've just been handed a CD which has a pre-built VMware Player version of Source Forge Enterprise (for our dev guys) on it.

Within the image_file directory ,there are a heap of large .vmdk, vmx, vmsd, etc files..

Can I import this into ESX somehow and create a VM with it?

VMware converter will do that for you: http://www.vmware.com/products/converter/

You can also copy the files over (import the VMDK with vmkfstools -i) and then register the VM, but converter will be easier.
