Shared disk for Linux Machins

Hi all,

im running 2 Linux vm (RHEL 5.1) on my VI environment (3.5 with VC2.5). i want to create a disk for both machines can view (for later use of oracle RAC)

i tried to create it but the second machine just wont start up, my error is that the file is locked.

i've put the disk on scsi1:0 on both machines, and even tried to manually create it with eagerzerothick. all failed

can anyone assist me with this problem?

did you share your SCSI controller?

If you have SAN you can try with Raw Device Mapping.
