SanMelody - iscsi guide for 3.0.2

I have downloaded the product SanMelody to hopefully enable (hopefully) the storage on the windows server to be availble for ESX as shared storage using the Iscsi protocol.

Does any one have a guide on how to do this ?

I have looked on the datacore website but i can not find anything for ESX.

Say, would you mind sharing what it took exactly to get it working? I am looking to get SanMelody for my company but want to make sure I can get it to work without spending too much time.

Thanks!

I use SANmelody in our production environment...and on my servers at home. It takes a little bit to figure out how to get everything mapped out...but after you get used to the interface...it's pretty easy.

On as side note, I received an email from Datacore, inviting me to stop by their booth at VMworld to receive a free copy of SANmelody lite. That's what I've been using at home...only it's the 30 day trial version. I plan on stopping by their booth...or having a friend do so...and getting a nice permanent copy.
