Hi,
I want to upgrade SSH in ESX 3.0, I am not familiar with linux commands, can anyone let me know the procedure how to upgrade ssh?

You dont - you will end up with an unsupported configuration. Just apply the VMware supplied patches and you will be fine.

It is possible to 'upgrade' SSH, but I am not sure what you mean by upgrade. If you mean just apply a VMware Patch, then use one of the patch tools available for ESX v3 (VMTS, esxupdate, esxautopatch.pl, etc.). If you want to grab the latest version of SSH and use it, then you have to rebuild it on an appropriate version of a Linux OS, make fresh RPMs and then install on the ESX server and once you do that, you do void your warranty as mcowger states. I would gain some more LInux experience so that you know all the steps... This is one that you may not want to tackle yet.
