Question about network load balancing

What needs to be done to reduce the network load ?

1) move the VM to other Vwitch to reduce the contention ?

2) Move the VM to other Vlan port group on the same Vswitch ?

I know, I need to add a extra nic and I need to configure traffic shaping to reduce the contention, but not usre, which one should be selected from option 1 and 2.

because a vswitch will typically use all assigned pnics in a load balancing setup; putting it on another port group on the same switch will change nothing.

moving it to another vswitch, will also make it use diferent pnics.
