Question about Privileges in Cluster

Folks,

If a ESX is managed by VC, and u create a new user and assign administrative privileges in the ESX box. What privilegewill that user have on the ESX Server cluster in which this server resides ?

- Will he have administrative privilege ob the cluster or No privilege.

I think, it should be none, because Cluster is VC concept and ESX. Users dont propogate from ESX to VC.

What do you all think ?

Thanks

I would agree, the permissions on the ESX hosts do not propigate up to the VC, hence why you can't log in as root (if enabled) on the VC
