Performance Problems after Upgrade to 3.5

Hello Everybody

We have some performance problems after upgrading our ESX Servers from 3.0.2 to 3.5sp2.

When server administrators try to login the virtual machine, they have to wait over 5 min until the desktop and everything occures.

Has anyone seen same problems? and what can i do to make the machines perform?

the only way to make the systems perform is to delete them from the inventory, remove all the files expect the .vmdk 's and make a new machine with the diskfiles attached!

i don't like to do that for our 60 machines so if anyone can help???

greetings

p.p.

If you are using shared storage, and if possible. Your upgrade from 3.0.2 to 3.5U2 might be better if you just do a fresh install. If you can, you may try that.

Also, all your VM's have the most recent VMware tools installed as well, correct?

Hello

thanks for your answer. yes we are using shared storage (nfs)

and yes the recent tools are installed.

but i don't like to make a new installation of the hosts. if this would be the only way to walkaround... i' ll do that but..
