Patch verification

After I patch an ESX server...manually....where can I look to verify that the patches have been applied? I just applied all of the 6/3/2008 patches to a test server (ESX 3.0.2), and the build version remained 86539. Anyone know?

esxupdate -l query

Will show you all installed patches
