Hi folks,
Did anyone experience a PSOD by using the following command:
less /proc/scsi/aacraid_esx30/0 in VI v3.0.1 - 32039
The Adapter is an IBM ServeRAID 8k or 8k-l ZCR SAS adapter.
The PSOD doesn't occur by using 'cat' or 'vi'.
The default used driver is aacraid_esx30 at version -> 1.1.5-2415
Could anyone check this issue at different vendor like a Dell or HPQ system that uses a similar adaptec ZCR adapter?

You should immediately contact VMware technical support and file a service request... tell them that you're an eval customer and you've discovered a showstopper PSOD bug. They'll pay attention to you REAL fast.

This patch seems to have been released to fix this problem:
http://www.vmware.com/support/vi3/doc/esx-7302867-patch.html
We had the exact same issue with the gdth driver in ESX2.5 VMware confirmed the bug but never repaired it.
Hi bertdb,
I realized today first that VMWare provided this patch you pointed out. Thank you.
Did you test this patch and can you post the new driver version of the aacraid_esx30 that this package contains?
