Not able to coneect through VI or web access

Hi ,

I just installed Esx Server 3.0 and installation was sucessful . Now i am at startup prompt. But if i try to access using web or vi , its not conecting

Can you ping your Esx host?

Is your physical network configured in such a way that certain ohysical nics on you esx host might be connected to physically isolated network segments? Are vlans in use?

No we are not using any VLANS all are on simple LAN

First try to restart following:

service vmware-vpxa restart

service mgmt-vmware restart

then try to "telnet <ip-address> 902" - what happens now?

Also before you run those commands I would check out the results of esxcfg-nics -l
