Need to apply 3.0.2 update 1?

I am up to date with all ESX 3.0.2 patches as of 6/13/08 . But I never applied 3.0.2 update 1. Should I go back and apply 3.0.2 updade 1, then apply all patches after udate 1?

If I understand it correctly, Update 1 includes the patches released up to the date it was released (last year sometime?). There weren't any feature updates included in Update 1 so I'd say you're good as you are - the only issue being you probably have a load more updates to apply when you rebuild a host if you don't use update 1.

I don't mind applying al lof the patfches. I would want to keep the builds consistant...

Fair enough - it's horses for courses really - if you've got a nice, automated build process then applying 50 patches probably isn't that much hassle but if you're looking to cut down the number of patches required, consider building the hosts as 3.0.2 Update 1 (after testing on your crash and burn cluster of course!).
