Hi here,
I'm at the end of my ugrade. Virtual Center (from 2.01 to 2.4U4) and ESX (from 3.5.1 to 3.5.0 and then to 3.5U4).
But I get this message when I try to migrate a VM from one Host to the others in the same cluter.
Host CPU is incompatible with the virtual machine`s requirements at CPUID level 0x1 register 'eax'
host bits: 0000 :0000:0000:0000:0000:1111:0100:0001 reqired: 0000:0000:0000:xxxx:00xx:0110:xxxx:xxxx
I saw somewhere on the web that I need to edit this VPXD.cfg file which is on the Virtual Center Sever and add this ligne:
<eax>--:::xxxx:xx:----:xxxx:xxxx</eax>
Does anyone where can bring a confirmation to know if is the right method to do?
