NAS Solution

I'm looking to use NAS storage for a small VMware project I'm setting up. I'm trying to choose between a Network Appliance and HP alternative. I've read the v13_san storage guide, but whilst the NetApp appliances are quoted, the HP kit isn't, apart from reference to Windows 2003 storage serfver being supported. What I'm looking to confirm is whether or not VMware supports " Windows Unified Data Storage Server 2003". Any pointers to reference documents for best practise NAS solutions / recommended Hardware for use with VMware will be greatly received. Thanks

my 2 cents on the question.

I use Qnap NAS, the "PRO" version are NFS server and work very well with ESX, not in there list but I don't care since I use this for test and DRP "light" solution.

I have made a test of running 12 VM's on one TS109 pro (1 disk), and the result is very good...
