Hi, I know there are a huge number of varying opinions on the subject, however I'd like to try to get a simplistic view!
I will shortly be taking delivery of a 2Tb SAN which I need to configure for my ESX servers to access. I plan to have a RAID 10 set and a RAID 5 set on the SAN. If I then carve these 2 sets into LUNs, can I simply point my VM's C: drive at a LUN on the RAID 10 set and any data drives to a LUN on the RAID 5 set?
