Kickstart Unattended Install

Ok after scratching my head for about 10min trying to figure out how to even enable the Scripted Installation, can someone help? I am totally useless when it comes to linux commands. How do I open the struts-config.xml file in VI? It took me 5 min just to figure out how to exit out of that guy...grrrrrr. I was sending Ctrl-Alt-Del commands through my DRAC like you wouldnt believe. Anyone have any sites they want to recommend for a lowly Windows Sys Admin?

I guess you can switch to any folder from anywhere in Linux. Weird...

Kickstart is a pretty advanced topic - I'd suggest you DL a linux VM and take some time to biunce around, learning to use vi or nano and navigate.

Thanks guys. I figured it out by actually reading Appendix A of the Installation Guide for 3.5 and a Linux VI command guide online. When it explained which mount points did what, I was able to navigate to the / mount point and discover the correct area. Hopefully after I go through some of my Virtual Center testing, I will be able to create a linux VM and start really playing around with it. Thanks again everyone.
