Has anyone setup a system using these newer NICs? I see that they hit the HCL recently (http://blogs.vmware.com/compatibilityguides/2007/10/io-compatibil-2.html) and we've got new kit coming in with them. I also see that a new ESX driver is being used, the "igb" version 1.0.0.
The basic question I have is that with "Scalable I/O on Linux" this card is supposed to load balance the cpu usage on all of cores. I'm wondering if ESX takes advantage of this.
