How to monitor VM any failure

Hi Guys,

How to configuring alert in the virtual machine on ESX3.5.

Example: if any one VM is restart or shutdown or other failure. How to monitor

You could use VMM, which is part of HA to monitor the heartbeat of your VM's, but is only experimental in VI3

Hi Guys,

I have read the PDF file and checked the free tools. Both are using for VM monitor for CPU usage and Host usage.

I need tools means if any one VM is down or VM is restart send to me mail.

Vinoji, you can monitor VMs with the same tools that you monitor any other machines in your environment - so if you have CA Unicenter, or open view, or IP monitor or any other similar tool, just point them at the VM.

If you want a free tool, try something like http://www.spiceworks.com/

Also, there are several free VM applicances that can do this for you.

Hi,

I have using monitor tools some other thirdy party tools.

If any solarwinds tools configure step file available please share to me. It's helpful for me.
