How to configure virtual center host

Hi ,

I have installed virtual center 2.0.1 connecting to SQL server 2005 + SP1 database on windows 2k advanced server SP4+update rollup1.

can you please let me know how to open the virtual center UI? How can i connect to the ESX servers.

Hi,

ok, you have installed your VCS and it is connected on db srv. Now, download ( )Virtual Infrastructure Client and then install it.

Start VIC and connect at VCS with administrator credential and create a Datacenter. Finally, add your esx server in your added datacenetr.

You can create and use a specific user in your AD enviroment.

If you want connect via web on your VCS, use;

Read through the quick start guide. Page 42 is where it describes starting up the VI client and logging onto your VC.

From there you start to create your datacenter, add your hosts into it etc. Just follow the guide.
