How long the rebooting process take after upgrading to 3.0.2 up1?

Hi, does anyone know how long the rebooting process take after upgrading to 3.0.2 update 1?

In my environment, after upgrading using esxupdate command, rebooting process stopped for more than 20 min

displaying this message " stoping vmware esx service".

Is it normal?

not "normal". I updated 8 esx 3.0.2 to 3.0.2u1, never saw this behavior you see.was the update finsihed and the system went already to reboot phase or do you see this during the u1 install?
