Hi guys,
I have checked the latest Systems guide and see that IBM HS20 8832 and HS40 8839 are only supported in single core configs.
Any reason or possible future support for dual and quad core HS20's and 40's?
They are quite powerful HW to be discarded without giving it a try.
Thanks for any advice on the matter!!
Cheers!
The HS20 and HS40 IBM blades are only single core. The new servers released are HS21s and LS41s. There isn't a HS41 aka quad proc intel blade.
I wouldn't suggest the HS20s as they limited in networking uplinks (only 2). We run a large enviroment (25 hosts) of HS40s but are migrating away from them to standalones.

The customer hadn't check and it was probably HT showing those numbers and not dual core systems.
Misunderstanding solved.
