HP BL460c EVC

Anyone been able to get EVC working on an HP Blade? Our current BL460c does not allow the EVC to be enabled, and we really would like it.

Hello,

To enable EVC on a HP box you need to Enable VT as well as enable No Execute within the same menu of the bios. It is either No Execute or something with a similar name. Unfortunately my only box that supports EVC is in production so I can not quickly check.

There are also several posts on this within the ESX 3.5 forum.

THat guide seems to be for ESX 2.1 and not 3.5 U 2 that I am using. Also it seems to not have anything I havent tired before...

ALl the blades (7 so far) have the latest BIOS and VT enabled in the BIOS... Just when trying to add them to an EVC cluster it says 'Incompatible' Hardware...
