Global LUN for all snapshots

Hi,

in our environment we have several LUNs for the VMs. The problem is, that I have to leave some space on each LUN for the snapshots created by VCB. Is it possible to have a central LUN for all snapshots, that means that the deltas are not stored in the vmx directory but in a different one for all machines?

To have the snapshot created in a location other then the folder where the vmx is is to add the 'workingDir' parameter to the vmx file.

workingDir = "/vmfs/volumes/..."

Personally I like to keep all my files together in the same directory. You also need to ask yourself what process you are running that causes the creation of such large snaps.
