GUI still shows old size after VMDK expansion

I have extended VMDK using vmkfstools, disk got extended successfully and my windows VM detected the extended disk and used to diskpart to extend the volume.

Now when I see the Hard disk size in from VC it still shows the old disk size value. Even my Datastore free size was not reduced. I did a rescan and my Datastore size got reduced. But the VM hard disk still in old size.

We are using esx 3.0

Please assist on this...

Restart mgmt and vpxa services.

Or remove the VM from inventory and re-add again.

Please power off the VM... Unregister and re-register and then power on ...

ESX is not reading the exact size of the hard drive.

Kindly consider awarding point if this info is useful.

Dear Andre, how are you?

I've the same problem as the original post. How do I restart the service vpxa? I've found the mgmt but not the vpxa...

Or maybe, where do I find a list of service I could restart?

Kind regards.
