Fresh Re-install of ESX Server

Hi,

Has anyone rebuilt an ESX server and recovered/reconfigured from any form of backup

i.e. by replacing certain coppied files from the /etc folder.

Does anyone have any methods for doing this kind of reinstallation/recovery?

Overlay those /etc/ files and folders will not work but you can use it to make same configuration settings and it will work. There is a scripted created to automate this process and send to FTP server see below.
