Error :"A general system error occured" Events tab

VMWare ESX 3.0.1 server. I have 4 servers installed, and all of them seems to be working properly. Even tab console, performace, summary and permission are giving what I expect. Only when I press tab "Events" I have problem. On two out of 4 installed servers I have the following:"

Error :"A general system error occured" and button OK.

The Events screen are empty with indefinite LOADING (which is shadowed).

On the rest 2 servers

I do have messages on the screen. Howver, when I press with mouse one of them I receive same message:

Error :"A general system error occured" and button OK.

Still in subscreen "Even Details" I have its description, when I press button OK. Everything else seems to be OK.

Hi

are your 4 system in an HA configuration? Are your system correclty registered in your DNS?

You can try to restart mgmt service on host with problem.

No 4 servers are not part of any clusters. Yes all of them are with DNS A record. I have tried to restart and that is fine, but events will stay with its message. In fact all 4 servers are with Events problems. Apart od that they are working fine, and they do not generate events.

are your system in HCL? it's possible for you try to upgrade at 3.5 version?

Esx 3.0.1 had a very bad error reporting and in 3.5 version has been improved.

However, please check: network configuration, storage configuration, vcs version that you are using.

Please give me more details
