Hi Guys,
I'm running ESX server 3.0 on the blade
HS21 Blades
Looked
in the MM and see the following errors pertaining to that specific
blade. I haven't found much luck doing google searches on this. Any
help would be much appreciated.
Event log
(VANCSAPP04) CPU voltage regulator 1 fault
(VANCSAPP04) CPU voltage regulator 2 fault
System Status
(VANCSAPP04) Voltage or VRM/VRD Fault.
You might have to call IBM Service Technician to swap out your failed components, in this case that might be CPU having problems with handling the processes. Use IBM diagnostic tools to run a thorough test if the hardware is bootable and start from there. I hope you have your HA is configured so your guests can be restarted on standby hosts. Make sure to have the latest firmware/bios updates as well but I believe IBM will replaced your hardware 24/7.

I dont have the latest firmware so I'll start with that.
I was able to reboot the server and vmotion them over to another host and then I shut it down.
How do I configure HA so guests can be restarted on standby hosts?
