Hi, we're working on an unattended install of ESX 3.0.1 from a NFS share. Most is working well, but we need to copy some additional files as part of our kickstart build.
We've set a "mount -t nfs server:/share /path" command in the kickstart file, which works great, but takes close to 5 mins to load. A thought we had was to try to use the same path the install does (as the server has yet to reboot from the initial build at this point) to pull the files.
We've seen "'//mnt/source/./vmware/...." scroll by during the build which appears to be where the install files are being pulled from, but have been unable to access that mount to copy our files from.
Has anyone got this to work?
