ESX 3.5 update 1 startup errors

We are trying to install ESX 3.5 update 1 on an HP DL 580 G4 with 2 Intel quad-core processors and 32GB of RAM. Thought that we might have problems installing ESX because the 2 drives are SAS, but cciss worked well. Upon start-up, we get 2 failures - 1 is the ipmi_si Unable to find System Interface. I do not believe that this will cause any problems, but would like it to work. I probably have to install the newest System Management tools from HP, but not quite sure how to do this. The 2nd startup failure is the /var/pegasus/bin/cim-server. Any ideas what this is? should we be concerned about it? and how to resolve?

You might want to try the latest version of HP SIM 8.0.x for it to work. Look at this thread for details.

I'm not sure about your first error, someone on the forum might know or you can try to google the error. The answer to your second question, you can ignore issue. It's a known bug and appears that some code was miss-configured and does not install properly and you have these alerts. You can follow the following post to remediate the issue or you can disable Pegasus if you don't use it via chkconfig
