ESX 3.5 failed load Vmkernel - IBM System X3850 M2

After installing ESX 3.5 and then restart the server, VMware does not start and leads me to a shell to execute vm-support.

If you make a relocation (update or reinstall) sometimes VMware runs satisfactorily, but in a next reboot redisplays the same shell

Hello,

Submit the vm-support to your VMware Support Representative for assistance. While that is happening also take your system off line and run a series of hardware diagnostics.... Run the IBM diagnostics for at least 24 hours, 48 preferably. And then run memtest86 for at least 24-48 hours. This will vet the hardware, subtle hardware problems can cause this failure.

Also verify with IBM that the BIOS is configured properly for this system to run VI3/ESX.

As you aware, IBM x3650 has huge problems with hardware especially in ESX 3.5 and VMware is working hard to get them resolves right now but no resolution yet. You read this thread more specifics here but i'm not sure if IBM x 3850 has any same types of hardware. Hope this helps for you.
