I have an odd thing going on. We just purchased these two new Sun boxes and I am having trouble with VMWare seeing all of the NIC's. I have four of the same dual port network cards, so I know it is not an HCL issue. On both servers it is not seeing the cards that are in slots 7 or 8. Now I read somewhere is a post that was for an unrelated (but related) issue in which the Sun's used too high of a BUS number that VMWare didn't see it.
Does anyone know how I could go about fixing this issue? I believe it is a bug due to the fact that when I do a regular install of Windows, Solaris, or Red Hat they all see the cards just fine.
