Upgrading an ESX 3.0.1 server to ESX 3.5 using the inplace upgrade off CD. There are 2 RDM LUN's on SAN and install complained about unreadable partiton on /dev/sde. I said no and cancelled install. I disconnected fiber and didn't get error message so pretty sure install sees RDM. Should I do upgrade with fiber disconnected? Have anyone else done a 3.0.1 to 3.5 with RDM LUNS? This was a new install for 3.0.1 and there was never any ESX 2.x.
