Compaq DL380 G1 connect with MSA500 G1

Hey Guys,

I have a problem when I'm trying connect DL380 server with MSA500 via SCSI cable.

- DL380 G1

- MSA500 G1

- Smart Array 5302 RAID card

- VHDCI SCSI cable

The system not able to detect the disks on MSA500 - but the internal disks without any problem.

Any advice? Can Smart Arrey 5302 work with MSA500 ? Thanks.

I found this from MSA 500 user Guide manual

"For Selective Storage Presentation (SSP) support on the MSA500 system, be sure the

following firmware versions are present:

• MSA500 Controller firmware Version 1.66 or later

• Smart Array 532, 5i, or 5i+ Controller firmware Version 2.36 or later"

So I think Smart Array 5302 controller card doesn't work with MSA500. Can someone confirm this? Thanks.
