Cluster Upgrade - Version Mix

Just to make my life easy.....

Is it possible to upgrade a cluster one host at a time 3.0.2 to 3.5 ; therefore have a temporary mix of host versions in a single cluster? Or do I have to upgrade, create new cluster, and relocate the guests to the new cluster?

I believe the documentation outlines what the mixture of versions can be, but I have successfully tested a mix of 3.0.2 U1 and 3.5. I am also planning to upgrade this way although I am probably going to rebuild the hosts instead of upgrading. Just a personal preference based upon experience with upgraded systems in general - nothing against the VMware upgrade process.

Yep, works fine. I crossed my fingers and ran with a mixed host version environment for a day or two while I upgraded the cluster - no issues
