Quick question - I have a VM Guest on an ESX 3.0.2 host that has snapshots that I have been unable to "apply" due to the fact that one of the disks is on a different LUN. It creates all the delta files on the primary LUN and will not remove the snapshot when one of the disks resides elsewhere, a problem we have seen in the past. To rectify this and to prepare for future issues and growth, I want to move this entire VM to a different, bigger LUN. The question - if I clone this VM to a new LUN, will it clone the deltas with it? This seems to be the quickest solution versus manually copying all the files and editing the vmx and vmdk files. Once cloned, if the delta files are cloned with it, I should be able to quickly remove the snapshot.
