Changing adapters network

Hi All ,

I had a private side network set up using 192.168.2.x for use by my guest machines I then added a second console to this virtual switch which then turned it into a loop back

128.0.0.1 /255.255.255.254 how can I get it back to be

192.168.2.9 /255.255.255.0

Hi,

Your question does not carry required information and what is needed. Please ellaborate it little bit more in regards of the ESX configuration.

How many NICS do you have ? with what IP address and how many are usable for prodution and how many for MLAN.

please mention vswitch as well if possible......

Hi

there are 3 network adapters on 2 networks the

adapter 2 is the one thats having problems it is attached to vmnic3 whitch is on vSwitch3 which is Plugged into network PrivateNetwork.

I tried to create a consol on this network (with an eye to removing the the main console from the public network). anyway somehow adding that console of course gave the

esx server a virtual nic and an IP this somehow turned my private network into a loopback for all machines on the vmserver. How do i get it back so all traffic to 192.168.2.x goes out that physical card represented by vmnic3
