Cannot add a host to Virtual Center

HI all, I just built two ESX boxes with VI 3.5 Update 2, these are SUN x4450, one I was able to add it to the Virtual Center but the other one even thought I can console into it with the root account I'm not able to add it to virtual center. I get Login failed due to bad username and password. Any ideas where I can start looking? I'm ready to rebuild it since I can't seem to find the solution. Any help will be greatly appreciate it. Thanks

What abt port 902 between ESX and VC?

Try to connect using IP?

Hi all, it was nto a critical box and it wasn't in production yet so I eneded up rebuilding it. Thanks anyway.

Hi everybody

I am having the same problem with two Dell Esx 3i embeded boxes.

I can add Host to Virtual center Server, but they appear "No connected", and "connect" command never succeeds.

Any Ideas ?

Http and VC works fine.
