Automatic snaphots with ESXi?

Is there a way to set a automatic snaphot to happen at some specified time?

Not just by ESXi alone - because there is no Service Console you will not be able to script and if you have Virtual Cneter you would be able to schecule a task - but what you want to do begs a question - Why do you want to schedule Snapshots?

To mitigate entropy. The VM in question is a development box where tons of developers are all adding code when ever the feel like it... its a startup company. By scheduling snaphosts we can at least somewhat manage the changes to the box. I can not all ways do this during the day so being able to have a snaphot taken at say 3am in the morning would make thing's easier to manage.

I understand that having had to support developers in the past but be warned things will get of hand taking snapshots nightly - have you taken a look at Lab Manager - - has this functionality and allows you to keep track of the snapshots - alos pushes some of the management of the development environments to the developers -
