After ESX 3.0.1 installation, I can't connect or ping the ip

Hi,

after made a fresh installation, I can't connect to the server (only by ILO). I know that I have four NICs and two of them are in one VLAN and the other two in a different VLAN, but I've tried with the four NICs and nothing, I have the same problem. Coudl someone help me on that?

what IP adress is your Service Console operating from?

run

esxcfg-vswif -l

when logged in as root, this will display the networking information for the COS.

when you are there, run a few pings to check connectivity out, hopefully this will give you a start to troubleshooting this issue.

Hi,

I've type the command and sc have the correct ip, but above the info I saw one line with "true" "false", do you kown what this measn?

these are the answers to 'Enabled' = True and 'DHCP' = false.

It's just wrapping the text on your console screen.
