2 Service Consoles for 3.5 is recommended?

Hi,

I"m in a process of upgrading ESX 3.0.2 to 3.5,

in 3.0.2 I had only 1 nic connected to the service console, I heared that its recommended to have 2 nics for service console in 3.5,

if thats the case, should i create an additional vSwitch for the new nic? or to put the new nic in the same vSwitch? (I have other 2 vSwitch one for the vmkernel and the other for VM's)

Hi,

You should just add an extra nic to the vSwitch of the Service Console. That would give you the desired redundancy.
