vca-dcv exam question

All the downloadable materials for this exam are 5.0 -- no questions/knowledge of 5.5 requiired??

Just double-checking, I just want to know -- yes 5.5 is on the exam or no 5.5 is not on the exam.

That is correct, until it is updated for 5.5.

I will check for an official timeline but I believe historically there is no advanced notice.

And to add as I  recall there is a time preiod where both 5.1 and 5.5 versions of the exam will be available - I know this happened when 2.5 and 3.5 were released -

VCP2 and VCP3 were different certification (and exam) versions.  There is only one exam for each certification.

Note that VCP-DCV4 is still available.  However, when the updated VCP5-DCV releases it will replace the existing one.

I know they are different certifications but they both went through a version change as we are seeing now - VCP 2 /VC 1.0 to VCP 2.5/VC1.5 and VCP 3.0/VC2.0 to VCP 3.5/VC2.5  and if my memory serves me correctly there were seperate exams versions for for each version.
