VCA-DCV doen't have any prerequisites, although it's recommended you take the free self-paced eLearning course. For details see (VCA-DCV) VCA-Data Center Virtualization

you just have to complete e learning course ( self place) video training which available on vmware site.

Once that is done you can register for exam.
