VCP exam without giving VCA exam

Please confirm me, can I give VCP exam directly, I mean do I need to be appeared in VCA before, please reply. thanks in advance.

VCP and VCA are different certifications which do not depend on each other. Please take a look at VMware Certification to find out about requirements for the different certifications.

You can directly appear for VCP but you will have to attend a authorized VMware training. Once you attend the Authorized training and complete the certification exam you will receive your certificate.

It is not yet a requirement to have passed VCA exam.

VMware is however considering this. Even if you do not pass the exam, I will recommend watching the FREE 2 hour video training for VCA-DCV prior to attending a official VMware course such as Install, Configure, Manage.
