VCA-DT certification has loose his value?

Recently the requirements for the VCP-DT certification has been changed and VCA-DT is no more required.

At this point, what will be the future of the VCA-DT exam? Does it still make sense?

IMHO could remain but it will be relegated to only a limited target of people, like who just operate with View.

Rumors seems to confirm a VCA5-DT certification, but actually there is specific information about when and how will be the upgrade path.

I stopped by and spoke to the certification team about the change. I was told that the VCA-DT would still remain available.

I think the gap between the two test as far as required knowledge just didn't make it a good prerequisite.

I was also told that they are getting started on the questions for the VCAP-DT
