I agree with Andre's take on the exams.  IMO it's great for anyone that isn't a VCP yet.  It at least identifies that you know something about the product

Also good for VCP to demonstrate knowledge in other areas.  Hey, it's free! (for now)

Thanks for your opinion, I passed today VCA, but for me wasn't easy, some question were strange.

Yup... Just completed VCA-DCV. Some questions are more about carefully reading the English than true understanding of vSphere features IMO... I especially disliked the "which challenges does vSphere address" questions. Non-native English speakers really need to watch out there.

Anyway, I scored 460 in the end so no all too serious complaints here, lol...

just completed the vca cloud ... and must i say it was very very brutal ...if you dont read .you dont pass simple ....advice ...go through the training course taking down notes and go over the video twice and read what the blue print advises you to .....i think my head is gonna crack because the questions challenging considering i wrote VCA DCV ....

final thot ..if u want to hammer cloud ....you got to read thrice as much as you did in DCV .... except if you are currently using the vcloud director and all its perks in your work environment
