Yet to receive my certificate after the VCP-DCV Exam

Hello Everyone,

I recently gave my VCP-DCV (2V0-21.20) Certification exam on 26th Nov 2021 and cleared the exam. But I am yet to receive my certificate and it's been a week now.

Later I realized that I have given the certification exam from a different VMware mylearn account with my personal email ID and the mandatory training that was supposed to be complete was done on a different VMware mylearn account with my work email ID.

I am wondering if this has caused the delay in getting my certificate in the certification manager.

Please advise on how to go about this and get my certificate.

I'd suggest that you email to certification@vmware.com, and explain what happened.

They should be able to help.

Ask certification@vmware.com to merge your myLearn accounts, tell them which one you’d like to be the primary account.

Yes I did email them and sent in my primary email id address to merge the 2 accounts.

How long would it take to merge the account and in turn the certificate reflecting on the certification manager portal?

I don’t know what their turnaround time is for that.

Hey Scott, I did take this up with the certification team and they said that the merger is complete and that it would take 24 hours for the certification to reflect.

But it is more than 48 hours now.

Any suggestion on how to take this further?
