VMware workstation for passing VCP4

Jump to solution

Hi,

I have a quick question. I passed my VCP4 exam in August last year and I'm planning to go to VCP4 course later this year.

I heard that every VCP will get VMware Workstation for free.

Will I still get VMware workstation for free after I complete all requirements for VCP4? Which version will I get 7 or 8?

Thanks,

Pawel

As writte you get the v7 version.

With VCP5 it's included the v8 version.

Don't wait too long to book your vSphere 4 course, training providers are quickly reducing the number of courses they offer on the old version. If you miss the chance to do a qualifying vSphere 4 course you will have to attend a full vSphere 5 course in order to qualify for VCP5 - your VCP4 exam pass will count for nothing.

Scott.
