VMware Spring Professional (EDU-1202) - Retiring Question

Greetings,

I read the certification preparation guide for EDU-1202, It says "Retiring soon on June 30, 2022". What does is it mean ?

Is it mean that I should take the exam by june 30 OR that I can schedule the exam by june 30 for a date after this deadline ?

You won’t be able to attempt the exam after the expiry date.

That's what I thought, but while I was scheduling the exam the platform let the calendar open for dates after june 30.
