Solved: VCP4-DT to VCP5 DT: How to Upgrade

I am VCP4-DT certified and want to upgrade to VCP5-DT. I could not see any upgrade path from VCP4-DT to VCP5-DT.

VCP5-DT :(VCP5-DT) VMware Certified Professional - Desktop

Can I directly attend VCP5-DT exam without any training?

I think I'm right in saying there's no "upgrade" path as there's no What's New class for View (like there is for vSphere and the DCV certification)

Does not look like there is an upgrade path. You have to attend the training or be VCP5-DCV certified to take that exam.

hmmm. Then it is a waste of time. VMware should allow an upgrade path.

There is usually an upgrade path, but you probably missed the time window. You usually have 3 or 4 months to upgrade after the next version is released.

There was a window (~4 months?) when VCP5-DT came out to upgrade with no class. This is the same policy as the regular VCP5-DCV.
