Dear Community,
I was wondering... if I'm not certified at all, decide to take VCP exam (let's say VCP-DCV) attending, let's imagine, a VCP-NV course: will this course enable me to take that exam?
Thank you
Raff
All the certification paths and requirements can be found here - https://www.vmware.com/learning/certification.html
If you go to the VCP-DCV page and select 'no VCP certifications' you'll see the step required. You will also notice that the VCP-NV course is not a qualifying course for VCP-DCV.
Also worth noting that you can take an exam before taking the course but you will not get the certification until all steps have been completed.

While there are multiple courses that qualify you for the VCP-DCV cert, you can only pick from ones that fall along the same path (for example, "Install, Configure, & Manage" will qualify, as well as "Optimize & Scale"). But choosing training for NV would only pertain to the VCP-NV cert, not the DCV. You could theoretically take an NV training and pass a DCV exam, but that combo would not satisfy the certification requirements for either path, so it wouldn't make much sense to do it that way.
Hope that helps!
To be honest, I have not heard of such a course. And I think it is very important to find a course that is really suitable for you, with which you can prepare for the exam. For example, I found best LSAT prep courses in New York https://edureviewer.com/lsat-prep-books-for-beginners/ to improve my professional level. But before I did this, I read a lot of reviews on forums and reviews from experts in this field.
